**Support Israel**
The support of people living abroad for the Jews of Israel is a long-standing tradition. Beyond the simple reason that Jews in Israel historically lived in great poverty, the Kabbalistic texts highlight the immense merit of supporting the Jews of the land.
The organization linked here is a non-profit based in Metula, the northernmost point in Israel, bordering Lebanon on three sides. Since October 7th, all residents have been asked to evacuate due to threats from Hezbollah, with most relocating to hotels in Tiberias.
My father, who leads the organization, travels to Tiberias every week to support the residents and organize activities for both children and adults.
